Haemophiliacare.co.uk – Double award winner
Haemophiliacare.co.uk has received two prestigious awards which highlight the value of its content and information for patients and carers.
In the Ask About Medicines Awards in 2008 the site won the category: Medicines information for medicine users and the public, recognising how the site increases people’s understanding about medicines and helps them get involved in decisions about their treatment.
And in the same year at the Communiqué Awards, the annual healthcare communications ceremony, Haemophiliacare.co.uk won the Writing excellence – Patient/Public category. This award recognises the quality of the content of the site which was described as being “informative without being patronising.”
